King.com have launched a brand new game based on Ten Pin Bowling. Imaginatively called King Pin Bowling, it's an exact replica of a real bowling alley. Knock down the pins and show your worth! King.com claim that they have realistic controls, believable physics and great sound making this an alternative to the real game! You can get a feel for the game by playing for free over at King.com - you have a time limit to take your shot so once you've lined up the ball you have to use the mouse to "bowl". This is done by pushing the mouse forward to create power. Move the mouse from side to side for spin (although we had trouble mastering this). You score as in traditional Ten Pin Bowling, but also get bonus points for speed too.
If you want to play for real, then there are cash prizes to be won by playing King Pin Bowling. At present the jackpot is over £100 - score the most points for your chance to win. By registering though you can play for fun and free - but all you win are jewels. This is quite a good game, but lacks longevity in terms of excitement as a one player game - so it's well worth taking on an oppenent and either playing for fun or for real!
